During the year, spouses\/partners are invited to join in trips and outings and to the Christmas Lunch.<\/p>\n<p>Each Probus Club is autonomous. The Club\u00a0endeavours to be simple in structure and to\u00a0provide opportunities for meeting new friends, enjoying conversation and listening to talks on a wide variety of subjects such as:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Pilots and Military Witnesses Reveal UFO Encounters<\/li>\n<li>The Story of Lundy Island<\/li>\n<li>The Roaring 20s<\/li>\n<li>The History of the Police<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Each year we organise a Spring Outing to a place of interest and we hold a Christmas Lunch and a Spring Lunch.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"venue\">Venue<\/h3>\n<p>We meet at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bearhotel.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Bear Hotel<\/a> in Crickhowell on the first and third Wednesday of each month. Members gather from 10 am approximately for coffee, with the meeting starting at 10:30.
