The Hove Probus Club organises an annual holiday and members are welcome to bring partners and friends and we also welcome widows of former members.
The highly successful 2019 holiday was to the fascinating Belgian city of Bruges, with its canals, cobblestone streets and medieval buildings. Another outing that year was to Lichfield, with highlights that included a visit to the National Arboretum, Bletchley Park and Oxford, and a canal boat cruise.
In 2018 we went to Bruges and Ostend and in 2017 Weston-Super-Mare, both again being five days.
A 2022 holiday is planned for the autumn.
We also organise occasional outings, which take place during a day and do not require an overnight stay.
Outings in recent years have included a guided tour of Harveys Brewery in Lewes, a guided tour of Preston Manor in Brighton, a visit to the Keep in Brighton, which is the records office of East Sussex, and a visit to Shoreham Fort.
