Market Drayton Probus Club is an independent member of the Probus organisation. Founded in 1976, it has fulfilled its aims & objectives effectively for several decades, as is shown by its history.
Aims and Objectives
- To provide a regular meeting point for retired and semi-retired professional and businessmen and women.
- To appreciate the value in their retirement of increased social contacts, and the opportunity for meeting others in similar circumstances for lunch once a month, plus a guest speaker, and additionally occasional activities.
- The Club is solely in the hands its members.
- The Club does not undertake any fund-raising activities.
- The expenses of the Club are kept to a minimum consonant with the standing of the membership, but within the means of those living on moderate resources.
Venue
Meetings are normally held on the third Monday of each month at the Tern Hill Hall Hotel. Members requiring transport to Tern Hill should contact the President or Secretary beforehand. Reception 12.30 for lunch at 1pm.
