Market Drayton Probus Club is an independent member of the Probus organisation. It is stand-alone and managed by its own management committee with no other hierarchy.
Aims and Objectives
- To provide a regular meeting point for retired professional and businessmen.
- To appreciate the value in their retirement of increased social contacts, and the opportunity for meeting others in similar circumstances for lunch once a month, plus a guest speaker, and additionally occasional activities.
- The future of the club will be in the hands of those that belong to it.
- That the expenses of the club should be kept to a minimum consonant with the standing of the membership, but within the means of those living on moderate resources.
Meetings are normally held on the third Monday of each month at the Tern Hill Hall Hotel. Members requiring transport to Tern Hill should contact the President or Secretary beforehand. Reception 12.30 for lunch at 1pm.
