Whilst there is no central control of Probus clubs in the UK, there are several independent websites which cater for them in various ways. Please note that none of these external sites are related to this one, and each one has its own contact details. All these sites rely on clubs updating their own information, so they are not always up to date.
Probus Online
Probus Media Services is an independent publisher which produces the free quarterly Probus magazine. They have their own website, Probus Online, which provides a wealth of information and resources for Probus clubs and their members. This includes:
Register of clubs – a free listing service organised by region
Register of speakers – speakers can advertise their services here
Probus Global
As the name suggests, this is an international website, and it has a page covering the UK and Ireland. They also have a map of clubs and a searchable database of clubs. The search works on both the name of the club and the location, which is useful as club names often don’t include the location.
Probus Supplies
Probus Supplies offers a wide range of club ties, badges, and other regalia which you can order through their online shop or by telephone.
Probus World
The Probus World site is rarely updated and no longer holds current information on club activities, but it has an online shop offering club supplies.
Public Speakers Corner
Although not specifically a Probus site, this listing of speakers from all over the UK is comprehensive and easy to navigate by region, and by speaker fee.
