Welcome to Waterlooville

In light of the recent advice from the government Cobra committee, members will not be surprised to learn that ALL WATERLOOVILLE PROBUS CLUB LUNCHES ARE SUSPENDED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.

Your committee will keep the situation under review and contact members when it may become possible to resume our monthly meetings.

At this difficult time members are encouraged to keep in contact electronically.

Peter Quine
Secretary

Welcome to the web-site of Waterlooville Probus Club, a club for retired business and professional men and women living in Waterlooville, Denmead, Hambledon, Horndean, Clanfield and surrounding areas.

The club was established to promote friendship among retired and semi-retired professional people, with conversation, lunch and interesting talks. We also arrange occasional trips out. Members include Service Officers, Teachers, Nurses, Bankers, Engineers and Civil Servants as well as local businessmen and women.

Annual membership cost is £20.

Venue

As of May 2019 we are meeting at The Hampshire Hog, Clanfield on the second Tuesday of each month from 12.00 noon to 3.00 pm. A 2-course lunch with coffee is provided at £16, and a bar is available. Varied presentations are given by a guest speaker. Dress code is jacket and tie for gentlemen and the equivalent for ladies.

Directions

From Waterlooville take the A3(M) northwards and come off at the Clanfield juncton (just as the road reverts to the A3 classification). At the T junction, turn right and keep going northwards until you come to a roundabout. Take the first exit (marked London / Petersfield A3) which also has a brown sign pointing to “Hampshire Hog”

The pub is about 1/2 mile up this road just past the car garage. There is plenty of parking on the front.
